Get ready for the gator!

I am getting ready to do the gator guard II bed liner. Before one lays it down, you have to sand everything, so i misted the tub with some cheapo black spray paint. Also I threw some pictures of the unmasked chassis.

Get ready to sand!

Sanding should take less than and hour with an 80 grit hand sander:

My garage is a mess I can barely sleep if I think about it.

Black Magic

So I finally buckled down and started the painting of the chassis, underside of body, and engine compartment.

The majority of the photos are for my use since the camera flash helps me find the spots that I missed.

I need to do another coat over everything and get any of the spots I've missed. Then I have to paint the inside of the hood, the front fender wells, and paint the gas tank. Once all that is complete I have to run some fuel lines, torque all the chassis bolts, service the gear shift housing, run wire for the fuel pump, check brake lines, etc. Then I will start the gator guard and then paint!
