Schedule and Budget

Every project should have some kind of schedule or goal in mind. and a budget as to how that will be reached. I will present the budget and schedule respectively.

Budget:
$1200 jeep
$700 mechanical= exhaust 350, battery 80, wiring, hoses, and filters 220, fluids 50
$300 paint= sandpaper, primer, body paint, engine paint, chassis paint, hardware paint

Price of jeep including parts: $2200.

Also I will need to support my shop:
$500 tooling= air compressor $300, paint gun $100 hose and water trap 30$, misc paint gear 70$

Putting project to roughly $2700 total

This project has an aggressive schedule of a jeep trip towards the end of April. Meaning that 2 months lies between now and then.

I am basically allocating a month for mechanical work and a month for painting. Here is the schedule in piecemeal fashion. The ###### is the end of a week with the date the above tasks will be completed by above it:

Fit body to frame
Fit battery cage to body
Take off body.

Remove fuel tank/lines

Weld Mounts:
body
rollcage
clutch
front leaf spring shackles
front suspension

Modify headers to allow spark plug access.

Chassis Mechanical:

Transmission:
Replace components in the shift lever housing (poppet balls, springs, gasket)
Flush with diesel, dump fluids.

Transfer Case:
Dump Fluids

Front Differential:
Dump Fluids

Rear Differential:
Dump Fluids

Torque all bolts on chassis
